Great to be back for another season at the sewing group. Met some lovely new ladies and looking forward to some new projects, with lots of help from Gill, Alana and Karen our instructors 😊

Another great session tonight and got a lot out of it. Tutors are very encouraging and are just as excited to see sewers complete their projects. Cant wait until next week.

As always, nothing is too much trouble for the tutors, who remain calm when youre not, and show you how to sort and mistakes you make.

I attended the beginners sewing class, using a sewing machine. As an absolute newbie, I was made to feel comfortable and welcome by the 3 ladies taking the class. They are very knowlegable and I was taken through my machine step-by-step and encouraged to 'just go for it'. By the end of the 2hrs I was cutting and sewing material to make a bag!
And to top it all, you even get a cuppa and a chocolate biscuit 😋

I attended the 1st of four sewing sessions last night in the AD cameron Centre run by SWI. The session did not disappoint and I learned a lot from Karen who was very patient and shared her wealth of knowledge. The group are very friendly and upbeat. Looking forward to next week.
